Here’s a tighter version for the calendar:
Join Hella Latin@ x Studio Luz for a live podcast in Vallejo on creative freedom, collective care, and dreaming beyond the systems we’ve inherited. Inspired by Saul Williams’ reflections on dreaming beyond capitalism, we’ll talk about how we’ve been taught to define success, the tension between creativity and capitalism, and new ways of living, creating, and caring for one another.
Hosted by Odalys Jasmine and featuring Maisa Morrar, founder of a Palestinian feminist collective; Rubén Darío Villa, former big tech director turned full-time artist; and Bianca Gonzalez, Vallejo native, photographer, and owner of Studio Luz.
After the podcast, stay for food, drinks, a live DJ, and time with local creatives and community. Proceeds support Days Between Sunday, a nonprofit raising funds for families impacted by ICE, and will go directly to a family in need of financial help.
Come dream with us. Let’s imagine beyond the blueprint together.
