studio luz GRAND OPENING
March 29, 2025 - We opened our doors with a solo show by local photographer Danté Johnson, celebrating his work surrounded by community, music, and good food. The night featured sounds by Tully, tacos on deck, and exclusive Studio Luz merch available for the first time. A memorable kickoff to what this space is all about—art, connection, and culture.

las de luz women’s art exhibition
July 19, 2025 - Our second art show at Studio Luz, Las de Luz, highlighted the work of four Bay Area women artists: Linda Mendoza, Araceli Cortez, Stef Sandoval, and Chacaree Jamili. The evening brought together art, community, music, drinks, tacos by @tacoselgranmac, and a raffle—celebrating creativity and the women behind it.

Luz Tianguis — Studio luz anniversary
April 25, 2026 — To celebrate one year of Studio Luz, we hosted Luz Tianguis — a community thrift market bringing together local vintage and resell clothing vendors, music, coffee, and creativity under one roof. The event featured a curated mix of Bay Area clothing resellers offering vintage pieces, streetwear, and secondhand finds throughout the studio.
Guests enjoyed coffee + matcha provided by Sierra y Sol Cafe while shopping and celebrating Studio Luz’s first anniversary alongside the local creative community that continues to support the space.
